Samantha Hollis

My work is centered on black and white photography because it allows space for what matters most. Expression, connection, light, and emotion. By removing color, the focus shifts to the story unfolding in front of the camera rather than distractions around it.

I approach each session with a balance of gentle guidance and room to move naturally. I am less interested in perfect posing and more drawn to honest moments. The in between glances, the quiet pauses, the laughter, and the connections that feel real. Whether photographing families, individuals, or something creative, my goal is to create images that feel timeless and true.

Photography for me is about slowing down and paying attention. Capturing people as they are, in the season they are in, and preserving those moments in a way that will still feel meaningful years from now.
